<p><strong>IML (In Mold Labeling) for Extrusion Blow Molding</strong></p>
<p>What is IML?</p>
<ul>
<li>The term “in mould labelling” is directly derived from the technique: a preprinted polypropylene (PP) label is placed in a mould. This mould has the shape of the end product, e.g. the shape of a butter tub.</li>
<li>Then the molten PP is added to the mould. It fuses with the label, and while curing, takes the shape of the mould. Result: label and packaging become one.</li>
</ul>
<p>In mould labelling can be done in the following production processes:</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<strong>Leakage Detector on Extrusion Blow Molding Production Line</strong>

<span lang="EN-US">This leakage detector uses an ultrasonic sensor to continuously monitor reheat stretch-blow molding machines to detect costly compressed-air leaks from the machine or bottles being blown. This leakage detector “listens” for the ultrasonic signals generated by high-pressure air leaks. It listens for leaky bottles, tracks them through the machine, and triggers an eject mechanism when they reach the correct position. Leaky bottles occur mainly when recycled PET is used.</span>

<span lang="EN-US">This leakage detector also monitors and graphs routine background ultrasonic noise. If that noise reaches an unacceptable level, This leakage detector can trigger an alarm. The upgraded version also displays the relative severity of air leaks and where they are located on the blowing wheel.</span>
